Halloween

Halloween is probably one of my most favourite times of year. There's just something cosy and exciting about being in a room lit with tea lights, watching scary movies and eating a ton of Halloween sweets whilst fireworks go on outside. My favourite thing to do on Halloween when I was younger was to watch American films from the 1990s (Hocus Pocus and Halloweentown to name a few!) and watch how they did the holiday - pumpkins on the doorsteps, Halloween parties, plenty of baking and fake haunted houses! I decided that when I had kids of my own, I'd go all out for Halloween, just like they do state-side!

Below, I've put together some ideas that have inspired me this Halloween. Whilst I'll probably be at home for the holiday, swimming in essays, I'm definitely going to try to make it as atmospheric as possible!

Tartan Time!

I absolutely love tartan. The print is so classic and can come in a range of different colours and yet, no matter how much it is altered, it stays recognisable. I've put together some tartan pieces below that I've found and love! From Vivian Westwood to H&M, it's no secret that tartan print is THE perfect pattern to add to your winter wardrobe this year.

Have you seen any other beautiful tartan pieces? Let me know below!

Take 2

Time has really flown since my last post. I took a bit of a break from blogging over the summer, purely because things had gotten really busy and I didn't want to continue writing if my heart wasn't in it. But I soon realised I missed it. I missed being inspired to write, I missed writing about things that made me happy and I missed sharing what I love with everyone. I found myself everyday thinking more and more about blogging again so I've decided to give it a second go.

So, there'll be a name change, a few more personal posts and more regular updates. I hope you enjoy it as much as I will writing it.
